Orthodox Autocephalous Church of Albania and other institutions founded by the church, and ‘Logos’ University College held on 1st February 2020 the blood donation at ‘The Resurrection of Christ’ Orthodox Cathedral’s premises, the Youth Room to aid children suffering from thalaessemia.

The blood donation lasted from 10 am to 3 pm, it was organized in collaboration with “Blood Donation Alliance” under the care of the President of Albania, Mr. Ilir Meta. The operations were performed by the University Hospital Centre. The President of Albania, Mr. Meta and His Beatitude, Prof Dr Anastasos, Archbishop of Tirana, Durres and all Albania, who is also the President of Logos Foundation in the visit made in the premises created for this activity, thanked the blood donors for their willingness for this humanitarian action.
