Standing committees are collegial bodies that perform functions in the areas defined in the statute, which are mainly related to the scientific qualification and the academic promotion, guaranteeing the quality standards of the institution and the study programmes, the further progress of its activity and relations with students, in accordance with the mission and the policies of the institution.
Standing committees are established at the institutional level and at the main unit level. They consist of not less than five members. Students are also members of the standing committees.
