Call Reference: ERASMUS+ Outgoing International Students Mobility
Venue & Dates: “Aristotle” University of Thessaloniki, Greece, between 01.02.2022 and 30.06.2022
Number of Applications: Up to 3 (three) student mobilities

Logos University College’s International Relations Office is now accepting applications for a number of outgoing student mobilities. LOGOS University College’s students interested in pursuing a term or a semester at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki are encouraged to apply. There will be a two-round selection procedure. LOGOS International Relations Office’s Mobility Selection Committee (MSC) will first rank candidates on the basis of the following criteria:

  1. Number of credits earned (up to 30%: 0-30 ECTS = 5%; 31-60 ECTS = 10%; 61-90 = 15%; 91-120 ECTS = 20%; 121-150 ECTS = 25%; 151-180 ECTS = 30% for a 3-year Bachelor
  2. Language skills (up to 40%: English B1 or above up to 30 points; host university’s language, B.1 or above, up to 10 points).
  3. Curriculum vitae and quality of motivation letter (up to 10%).
  4. Academic performance calculated on the basis of average grade (up to 20%).

On the basis of this first selection round, qualifying applicants will be nominated to the University of Thessaloniki for a second and final round of selection on the basis of another application. Successful applicants will be financially supported (travel, accommodation & food) by ERASMUS+ funds disbursed through the University of Thessaloniki and are expected to: i) represent LOGOS University College in a dignified way; ii) engage in their respective study abroad programme; iii) and enjoy the experience!

Application Form accompanied by the following supporting documentation items:

  • • Transcript of Record (Criteria No. 1 and 4).
  • • Certification of language skills (Criterion No. 2).
  • • Criterion No. 3 is included in the Application Form.
  • • Photocopy of ID / Passport.
  • • Only for cases of disability: Medical report from a Public Hospital.

By applying, candidates agree:

  1. To participate in a training to be scheduled prior to the activity.
  2. To deliver the Individual Mobility Report alongside supporting documentation.

Call Reference: Teaching Mobility for Academic Staff AND Training Mobility for Administrative Staff
Venue & Dates: Thessaloniki, Greece, between 01-02-2022 and 30-06-2022
Number of Applications: Up to 5 (five) teaching mobilities – Up to 5 (five) training mobilities

Logos University College’s International Relations Office is now accepting applications for teaching or training mobility. The call is addressed to academic and administrative staff interested in developing themselves as academic teachers and university administrators. There will be a two-round selection procedure. LOGOS International Relations Office’s Mobility Selection Committee (MSC) will first rank candidates on the basis of the following criteria:

  1. Junior faculty status, or junior-in-role status (up to 20%).
  2. Previous motilities (up to 20% = 0 – 20 points, 1 – 15 points, 2 – 15 points, ≥3 – 0 points).
  3. Candidacy Endorsement University of Thessaloniki School/Department or Administrative Department (up to 25%).
  4. Language skills (up to 20 points: English B.1 or above up to 15 points; host university’s language, B.1 or above, up to 5 points).
  5. Documented potential for spin-off benefits for LOGOS University College (up to 15%).

On the basis of this first selection round, qualifying applicants will be nominated to the University of Thessaloniki for a second and final round of selection. Successful applicants will be financially supported (travel, accommodation & food) by ERASMUS+ funds disbursed through the University of Thessaloniki and are expected to: i) represent LOGOS University College in a dignified way; ii) engage in their respective Teaching or Training; iii) enhance LOGOS University College’s Erasmus + network by liaising with other participants; iv) and enjoy the experience!

Application: Please indicate your interest by writing a Motivation Letter detailing academic rank and position at LOGOS (Criterion No. 1), previous mobilities, if any (Criterion No. 2) and be accompanied by the following documentation items:

  • • Academic CV.
  • • Evidence of language skills (Criterion No. 4).
  • • Endorsement of candidacy by a University of Thessaloniki School/Department or Administrative Department / Unit (Criterion No. 3).
  • • Statement on how you would translate your participation to value for you and Logos University College (Criterion No. 5).

By applying, candidates agree:

  1. To participate in a training to be scheduled prior to the activity.
  2. To deliver a report on the activity, LOGOS’ representation in it, as well as how participation and contacts can be used to LOGOS’ benefit in the present or the future.
  3. To deliver the Individual Mobility Report alongside supporting documentation.

ERASMUS+ MOBILITY PROGRAM

As part of Erasmus + program, on 13-18 February 2022 Mrs. Aida Zoto - lecturer of the Department of Greek Language and Civilization at University College "LOGOS" - visited Democritus University of Thrace, Komotini (Greece) to complete the mobility program (Training).

She was received by Mrs. Zoe Gavriilidou, Deputy Rector for Academic and Student Affairs at Democritus University of Thrace, by Mrs. Maria Tziatzi, Head of Department of Greek Philology and other colleagues, where they discussed the opportunities that Erasmus + program offers between these two educational institutions.
