PhD. Thomas Bardakis
Short Bio:
Thomas Bardakis holds a PhD from the Faculty of Philosophy (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) in the field of Semiotics of Onomastics, a Diploma of Postgraduate Studies in "Semiotics, Culture and Communication" (A.U.Th.), a bachelor's degree from the Department of Theology of the Faculty of Theology (A.U.Th.) and a bachelor's degree from the School of Greek Philology (specialization in Linguistics) of the Faculty of Philosophy (A.U.Th.). He is also a research fellow of the SemioLab of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He has published papers in scientific journals and presentations in international scientific conferences. Since 2020, he has been part of University College LOGOS academic staff where he has taught various courses, such as: Greek Civilization I, Greek Civilization II and Sociolinguistics. His field of interest and expertise are Semiotics - Sociosemiotics, Linguistics - Sociolinguistics, Onomastics, Language ideology, Multimodality, etc.

Prof. Dr. Anna Anastasiadi-Symeonides
Biografia:
Anna Anastassiadis-Symeonidis is Emeritus Professor of Linguistics at the Department of Philology, Linguistics Section at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She completed her M.A. studies from Paris III University in 1974, while since 1985 she holds a Ph.D. at the University of Athens. She pursued her postgraduate studies at various French Universities in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics (A. Martinet, G. Moignet, D. Van de Velde - R. Galisson, N. Catach, M. Callamand), Lexicology (B Quemada, R.-L. Wagner), Lexicography (B. Quemada, BT Atkins, M. Glatigny, P. Corbin), Computational linguistics (M. Gross, N. Calzolari, L. Kartunnen) and Morphology (D. Corbin, K. Koskenniemi).
In the course of her professional and academic career she has held various prominent positions: from 1991 to 2012, she was the coordinator of ERASMUS projects with 7 other European universities; from 1998 to 2005 she was a member of the Senate of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; from 2009 to 2011 she was a board member of the Hellenic Quality Assurance Agency of Higher Education. Her fields of study and expertise are related to the study of the Greek lexicon and dictionary, the design of printed and electronic dictionaries, neologisms, borrowings, word formations, multi-word units, terminologies, spelling, etc.
In 1998, she guided the form and structure of the Dictionary of Modern Greek (Institute of Modern Greek Studies at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki - Manolis Triantafylidis Foundation) where, during the years 1976 – 1980, she was editor-in-chief. She has published 4 books and over 170 articles in Greek and international magazines, collective volumes and conference proceedings.

Assoc. Prof. Marsela Harizaj
Short Bio:
Marsela HARIZAJ is Professor of English Language at University College "LOGOS", Faculty of Human Sciences and Linguistic Communication. From October 1999 - March 2019 she was a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages ( English Branch ), at the University "Ismail Qemali" of Vlora, Albania. She is specialized in English Language Teaching and Pre-service Teacher Education. In 1999, completed her graduate studies at the University of Vlora/English Branch. In 2006-2013, followed the postgraduate studies (Master of Science / PhD. Dissertation) in Linguistics; in the field of Didactics of English Language Teaching, at the University of Tirana/Faculty of Foreign Languages. In February 2016 has been awarded the academic title: "Associate Professor", at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Albania. Her fields of study and research include methodology and didactics of English language. She has participated to many national and international conferences, activities, workshops on education and is the author of many publications on foreign language teaching, in Albania and abroad.

PhD. Vasilki Apostolouda
Biografia:
Vasiliki Apostolouda holds a Bachelor's degree in Greek Language and Literature (Linguistics major) and a Master of Science degree in Applied Linguistics from the Faculty of Philology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She completed her Doctoral studies at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, Faculty of Philology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her main research interests lie in the areas of morpho-phonology and first/second language acquisition.
Part of her research activity has been presented in international conferences and seminars (OCP, MFM, etc.), while in the past she participated as a scientific researcher in the project "Education of Foreign and Repatriated Students", at Faculty of Philology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
She has extensive teaching experience in higher education and has worked as a Linguistics Lecturer at Department of Speech Language and Therapy, Mediterranean College (in collaboration with Manchester Metropolitan University). Simultaneously, she is conducting her Postdoctoral research (funded by the State Scholarship Foundation) at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Currently, she is a Lecturer in the Department of Greek Language and Civilization at University College LOGOS.

Shkarko CV
Stavro Dajo
Short Bio:
Stavri J. DAJO was born in Gjirokastër, Albania (1958) and is a graduate of the Faculty of History and Philology of the University of Tirana (1983). He holds the PhD in modern Balkan history, awarded by the Department of History & Archaeology of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2002). His research and scientific interests are focused on the study of inter-Balkan relations and, in particular, on the Albanian impact on the Balkans.
He has written the monography: "The international dimension of the E. Hoxha - J. B. Tito rift and the end of the Greek Civil War 1945-1949" (PhD thesis), Thessaloniki 2002, along with many other monographies on the relations between Greece and Albania as well as other Balkan countries during the Cold War.
He has also written the three-volume series «The Albanian language for Greek-speakers» (2022-2023).
He has participated in international conferences and collective scientific projects on Balkan history and literature, thus having an extensive bibliography. He is a professor of Albanian Language and Culture at the Institute for Balkan Studies since 1997.
As a literary translator, he successfully translated many Greek literary texts into Albanian and vice versa, and most notably "Zorba", written by Nikos Kazantzakis with three editions. He also edited the anthological volume “Greek short stories: An anthologic and bibliografic edition” (2023).

MSc. Lina Mpasoukou
Biografia:
Lina (Angeliki) Basoukou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Archeology and History of Art at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Faculty of Philosophy. She also holds a drama degree from “Athens Drama School-G. Theodossiadis” and a diploma in classical singing (Panarmonion conservatory, Athens). In 2012 she completed a Masters at the Department of Primary Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Since 2023, she has been preparing her doctoral thesis at the University of Western Macedonia in Florina, Greece.
She is currently engaged at the public section of Education in Greece as a high school literature teacher. From 2014 to 2019 she was on secondment at Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Humanities, Department of Modern Greek Studies (ELTE BTK Görög Tanszék, Újgörög Munkacsoport) at Budapest (Hungary). Νowadays she is on secondment at the Department of greek language and civilisation at “Logos” University College.
Her scientific and research interests include children's and youth theater, semiotics of total drama discourse, history and theory of literature, as well as teaching of Greek as a foreign language. She has attended a series of seminars on teaching modern greek and theatre education. Her work has been published in journals and collective volumes. She has also participated in international scientific conferences.
She studied piano at the Music Department of the National Technical School and at Experimental Conservatory (Athens).
As an actress (member of the Chorus in Aeschylus’ "Cheophorae" και "Εumenides"), she took part in "Oresteia" (National Theatre of Greece, Epidaurus Festival, directed by Yannis Kokkos, 2001).
She is the author and co-author of two radio shows on Radio Ngjallja, the official radio station of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania.
Ms Basoukou has published two poetic collections under the pseudonym «Αngeliki Zervantonaki»: Askiseis [Etudes] (ed. Dodoni, 2003), Ep' omou [On shoulder] (ed. Hridanos, 2019). Her poetry has also been published in printed and electronic journals.

Msc. Elona Zirek (Qyra)
Short Bio:
MSc. Elona Zirek (Qyra) completed her undergraduate studies in English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana (2000-2004) and her graduate studies in the field of British and American Cultural Studies at Otto-Friedrich University, Bamberg in Germany (2009-2011). Since October 2021, she is an Assistant/Lecturer of the English language at the Department of Greek Language and Civilization, Faculty of Humanities and Linguistic Communication, University College LOGOS and external associate at the Faculty of Computer Science and Architecture, at University of New York, Tirana. She is highly experienced in English language teaching, translation and interpreting. Her teaching career spans over 20 years and she has taught at various public and private universities such as the University of Tirana, University "Aleksandër Moisiu" Durrës and University of New York, Tirana, as well as at other pre-university education institutions. Her teaching focus has mainly been teaching English as a second language, English for special purposes (medicine, business and ICT), academic writing and public speaking. She is highly experienced in preparing students to take international standardized tests such as APTIS, IELTS, TOEFL and SAT.
In the last two years she has actively participated as junior researcher in two other Erasmus+ projects and is highly interested in participating and giving her contribution to the project on Digital Transformation in Language Teaching, Learning and Research.

MSc. Anxhela Laska
Biografia:
Anxhela Laska holds a Bachelor degree in Greek Language, Literature and Civilization, Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana (2018) and a Master of Science in Greek Language Teaching for Higher Secondary Education, Department of Greek Language, Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana (2022). She has completed various trainings and has several certificates on modern methods and effective learning.
In the field of teaching and translation, she has collaborated with the Greek-Albanian college “Arsakeio of Tirana ̎ and the Greek Foundation of Culture. In addition to teaching, she also worked as a translator, interpreter and editor in Albanian and Greek.
Her teaching areas include lexicology, morphology, didactics, academic writing, translation. He is also experienced in preparing students for the Greek language certification and students for the naturalization exam.
M.Sc. Anxhela Laska is currently Assistant/Lecturer of the Greek language at the Department of Greek Language and Civilization, Faculty of Humanities and Linguistic Communication, University College ̎Logos ̎ and external collaborator at the Greek Language Center.
