PhD. Thomas Bardakis

Short Bio:

Thomas Bardakis holds a PhD from the Faculty of Philosophy (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) in the field of Semiotics of Onomastics, a Diploma of Postgraduate Studies in "Semiotics, Culture and Communication" (A.U.Th.), a bachelor's degree from the Department of Theology of the Faculty of Theology (A.U.Th.) and a bachelor's degree from the School of Greek Philology (specialization in Linguistics) of the Faculty of Philosophy (A.U.Th.). He is also a research fellow of the SemioLab of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

He has published papers in scientific journals and presentations in international scientific conferences. Since 2020, he has been part of University College LOGOS academic staff where he has taught various courses, such as: Greek Civilization I, Greek Civilization II and Sociolinguistics. His field of interest and expertise are Semiotics - Sociosemiotics, Linguistics - Sociolinguistics, Onomastics, Language ideology, Multimodality, etc.
