PhD. Pavlos Symeonidis

Short Bio:

Mr. Symeonidis has been working with computers since he was 12 years old. His fascination with the subject has driven him towards obtaining a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. degree in Computer Science. In 2006 he obtained a PhD entitled “Automated Assessment of Java Programming Coursework for Computer Science Education” at the University of Nottingham. Mr. Symeonidis has made publicly available his research and academic interests in CS education in the form of published papers in several educational conferences and journals.

Mr. Symeonidis has been lecturing Java training courses to the academia and the industry for over 20 years and is the author of two Java Programming courses taught by the University of Nottingham to Computer Science undergraduate students. To date he has worked on a variety of commercial and educational projects including Interactive Classroom Explorer and Nelson-Thorne’s Cursive Handwriting. He was the principal designer and developer of the marking system for CourseMarker, the worldwide leading Computer Based Assessment software system for computer programs. In June2015, he has successfully deployed the first Greek Urban Green Management System for the Municipality of Thessaloniki entitled “GreenTree”, a system which he has single-handedly designed and developed.

Mr. Symeonidis has also extensive experience in designing databases (DBs), especially lexicographical ones, in a multitude of environments (Dbase, Access, MySQL) such as:

MSc. Olta Llaha

Short Bio:

Since 2014, Olta Laha has been part of the effective academic staff at the Department of Applied Informatics and Statistics, Faculty of Applied Sciences, University College "Logos" and since 2013, she has been employed as a part-time lecturer at the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana.

During the academic year 2019-2020, she worked as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, Faculty of Economics and Agribusiness, Agricultural University of Tirana.

From 2019, she is pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Southeast Europe in Northern Macedonia. In 2013, she received the title of Master of Science in the field of Informatics, at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana. Her research areas are: Big Data Analysis and Management Systems, Databases, Data Analysis, Semantic Web, etc. She has participated in many national and international conferences and has been active in newsletters and scientific journals. In the last years, he has made several publications in the country and abroad.

MSc. Eleni Papapano

Short Bio:

Eleni Papapano has completed Bachelor (BSC) studies in Applied Informatics, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Logos University College (2018), Master of Science (MSC) in Software Engineering, Canadian Technology Institute (2021). Eleni is an Alumni returning to engage as an internal lecturer for 2 subjects: Java & Architecture X86 at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of Logos University College. Her contribution to the University College Logos does not end here as during her studies she contributed as a volunteer to counseling students in the Erasmus+ program. Since the completion of her studies she has worked as a specialist IT in the Albanian Geological Service and then as a software developer first with INNOVAWAY SH.P.K. , then as a software developer with Service Factory SH.P.K. (partners of CORVALLIS Group) and currently as a software engineer with DigitSapiens SH.P.K.

Eleni Papapano has participated in many national and international training & conferences since 2015, mainly oriented towards technology, digital development, business and women's role in technology.

In terms of her interests, they are widely related to technology as well as development software and platforms used for management & operation in different industries. Eleni is currently the developer of a platform that manages the control of electric vehicles in several European countries and also deals with the maintenance of the current platform and data analysis.

MSc. (Dr. kand) Entela Kostrista

Short Bio:

Entela Kostrista (1991) obtained from the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana the Bachelor degree (2010-2013) and Master of Science in Mathematics (2013-2015).

In the period 2019-2021, she pursued a second study program, Master of Science in Official Statistics, offered for the first time by the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana and INSTAT. Currently, she is in the third year of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Business at University "Aleksandër Moisiu" Durrës.

Since 2016 she has been a full-time lecturer at University College LOGOS and in the last two years she has also been a visiting lecturer for the course "Applied Statistics" at the University of Sports, Tirana.

Her experience in the field of scientific research started with an internship at the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation, to then become part of the Research Center at University College LOGOS. As a data analyst, she has collaborated with researchers from various fields and has completed a series of trainings and certifications in the field of statistics and on various statistical software.

She has participated and is currently engaged in several national and international projects. She has also completed international mobilities in the framework of Erasmus+ program in the partner universities of University College LOGOS and has participated in projects for the exchange of different learning experiences.

She is part of organizational boards of scientific conferences and a member of the editorial board of the Student Magazine LOGOS.

MSc. Sandra Bardhi

Short Bio:

Sandra Bardhi graduated in Mathematical and Computer Engineering at Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana. As an experienced part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, Department of Statistics and Applied Informatics, she has helped students develop practical and theoretical knowledge.

As an IT specialist, she has worked on various projects on the management and resolution of technological problems to ensure successful operation of systems. The most important part of her career is as a Java developer, where she has contributed to the development of innovative software applications and solutions.

Her passion for education and technology creates a stimulating learning environment where every student feels motivated to reach their maximum potential.

MSc. Marin Çollaku

Short Bio:

Marin Çollaku completed his Bachelor's (BSc) studies in Economic Informatics, Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana (2017), Master of Science (MSc) in Information Systems in Economics at the University of Tirana (2019). He is part of University College “Logos” as a full-time lecturer since 2024. Also, since 2020, he has been engaged as a part-time lecturer at the Department of Statistics and Applied Informatics, Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana in the courses of Algorithmics and Data Structure.

Since the completion of his Bachelor studies in 2017, he has worked first as a Software Developer and then as a Team Leader at Helius Systems company.

His fields of interest are software solutions design, project management, financial institutions applied systems.
